Boo time with.............

Happy Halloween everyone, hope you're having a frightful time :D!

My one and only halloween project is a little zig zag fold book created using the Tim Holtz ATC and corners die for the book covers which I cut from chipboard and then again from lilac bazzil card. In side are the Spellettes (possibly haunting in a venue near you very soon), four of the witch Tilda's from various autumn/halloween collections. I cut watercolour paper slightly smaller than the ATC x four pages and then mountain and valley folded it. Everything is watercoloured and I've doodled some spider webs in the backgrounds and used some peg stamps for the words. There's lots of stickles on the webs and here and there on the Tilda's too.
Close up and some of the sparkle is showing up.
The front cover is decorated with DooHickey die cuts from the tea labels set and also the tree which have been watercoloured and the tree has some added doodling. The book holds together with a ribbon stuck down under the bazzil card on the front and then wound round the back to knot at the side.

I'm entering my book into the challenge at Magnolia-licious challenge blog where the theme this week is Halloween!

Magnolia Open Weekend - Boras, Sweden and a Tag

Hi everyone and it's good to be back after a couple of weeks of  being out of action due to one thing or another, hope you're all keeping well.

First I'd like to share a tag I've made using the beautiful special stamp that is available only at doe@ding in the Netherlands at the moment. This sweet little Tilda stamp was a gift from my lovely DT friend Monique via doe@ding and I'd like to thank them both. A gorgeous Tilda to colour and I love the flower!

The Magnolia Open Weekend in Boras, Sweden was a truly memorable one for me, I'll never forget the experience and I'd like to thank everyone at Magnolia for inviting me, for all they did to welcome and look after us and for making a dream come true. To my gorgeous DT friends DebbieAlbiMoniqueLillemor and Camilla and to the lovley Angela and Albi's Mum Christina, thank you for making the weekend such a great one, it was wonderful to meet you all and thank you for your company, the laughs and friendship. Thank you Camilla and Lillemor for a great welcome to Sweden, I loved it! I also got the chance to briefly meet my team mate Hanna who came along on Saturday, she's just as sweet in real life.

Thank you's done, I can say that the workshops went well and it was a pleasure to work with the ladies and children who came along. It was so good to meet blog friends Louise and Marika, what a treat and such lovely ladies! Lots of kisses (3) to you all :).
The line up before we started on Saturday morning and a little funny moment which was all about my invisibility behind the tree of course :D!

More photo's below but unfortunately I didn't get as many as I would have liked. My DT friends projects were incredibly beautiful and their work even more inspirational in real life. The Magnolia home shop is a dreamy place for all things shabby chic, the Christmas tree ornaments are just the kind that I like so I brought a few things home!
It was brilliant to walk around the shop and see some of the creations of my team mates in real life, they're all so very talented.

It only remains to say that I hope to go back to Sweden one day!

Back soon with my one and only halloween Magnolia project, I don't have much reason to make halloween cards but I love the halloween stamps so I have to make something! Catch up with you all soon.

Magnolia Open Weekend, Boras, Sweden - My Sunday workshop card

Evening everyone! Here's the card for my Sunday workshop at Magnolia with the gorgeous Cozy bear this time. Again a nice easy card design so that we can concentrate on the snowy fir tree painted scene in the background.

Thank you for all the lovely messages yesterday and today and I'll be reporting back on the trip next week, hopefully with lots of photographs. It's been busy and I haven't been able to do any blog hopping but I hope to catch up with you all very soon. Have a great weekend and I can't wait to meet all my lovely friends and everyone at Magnolia in Sweden tomorrow :)

Magnolia Open Day - Workshop 1

Hi again everyone and I just wanted to pop on to share the first of my make and take cards for the Magnolia Open weekend. This is the card for Saturday's workshop and as you can see a really simple design so that there's plenty of time to concentrate on creating the background scene. I've used the sweet 'Little Tilda' from the Little Christmas collection and she works well for any occasion I think.  Two more sleeps :D.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments as always, sorry I haven't been getting back to visit everyone, it's been busy lately. Enjoy the rest of your evening and back tomorrow with my second make and take card.

Pixie Tilda on snowy roof - Christmas Story collection

Hi everyone, hope you've had a good start to the week. I've been painting up some of the gorgeous new Christmas Story stamps and this is the very sweet Pixie Tilda on the background stamp snowy roof which makes it Christmas here :D, I absolutely love the stamps in this collection, well I always say that and I always do but there's something extra special about the Christmas stamps :).

I wish I'd taken a photo of the card from the side as it's very 3D which doesn't show unfortunately. The window is a die cut popped up over the magnolia background paper (wallpaper) and the little blind I've made using the tiny scallop Magnolia DooHickey die which is then concertina folded. Everything is painted with distress ink and distress ink Markers, watercolour markers and crayons and Tilda is cut out and popped up over the top with the Magnolia Let it Snow sentiment stamped and cut out as well. I've added lots of stickles, white paint and faux stitching to create the snowy night time scene.

I'm entering my card into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge where this week it's 'anything goes'.

Only a couple more days and I'm off to Sweden for the Magnolia weekend.....I can't wait!

Enjoy your evening :).
