Wicked

Hi everyone and wishing a very spooky All Hallows Eve :)! Here's Tilda flying off to play her part in Wicked and she's got her green make-up on too :). I painted her with distress inks, cut her out and then placed on top of a distress ink background wash where I've added some building shapes to the bottom. The papers are all by Magnolia and I've die cut the word Wicked with the Tim Holtz Market die and covered it with stickles. The moon is cut with Nestabilities circles and then embossed with a stars embossing folder and I've made a drippy spiders web with stickles too. The papers are distressed with paint and I've used an MS border punch. I followed Heather's sketch for BG challenges this week which I loved and I hope to have my card on for that in the next few days.

I'm entering this card into Magnolia Down Under challenge where the theme is Halloween inspired.
Have a spooky evening!

A winter scene

Hi everyone! Well to go with this chilly weather we're having here at the moment I've got a Christmas card to show today, one which didn't make it into the current issue of Magnolia Ink but others did so I was very happy :D. Tilda is coloured with distress inks, cut out and is sitting on a Melissa Frances carved scroll. The paper is by Websters Pages and I added a square doily, Magnolia clear chandliers for the tree behind her and  another Melissa Frances frame and scroll, snowflakes, lace and flower with pearl brad and lots of stickles. Enjoy your day.

Magnolia autumn swirl

Hi everyone, hope you had a good weekend. A Magnolia card today with an Autumn feel as we're certainly having the weather for it here and using one of the older Magnolia images water coloured with distress inks. The card is a tent shape with an aperture cut using a nestability labels die, the cut Tilda has been attached to a piece of acetate and hung from the inside top of the aperture so she can flutter in the breeze :). I also water coloured the Magnolia large toadstool and leaves images for the border at the bottom. I love the paper which came from the Magnolia shop but unfortunately there was not brand name on it. The punched borders top and bottom are done with a Martha Stewart punch and I've glittered around the leaf, Tilda's wings and the toadstool spots with Star Dust Stickles. Have a good Monday and as always thanks for your comments, I always appreciate them.
