TOMIC - challenge # 5

Hi everyone, hope you had a good weekend. TOMIC challenge # 5 starts today and our theme for this week is to make an easel card, I love easel cards so I had to join in :). There's lots of inspiration from my DT friends  so I hope you can join us and of course there's a wonderful prize to be won from Magnolia for our randomly chosen winner and the chance to be one of our top 5 and a guest designer spot going to first place....more reasons to join in :).

I've used the sweet Magnolia Tilda in rubber boots, she's coloured with pencils and cut out. My easel card was made using a nestabilities labels die, I've used the gorgeous DooHickey dies 'heart swirl branch', 'peony petals' and 'swirly butterfly' and one of the new Magnolia  6 x 6 pretty papers. There's lots of stardust stickles and some hand dyed ribbon and some rolled roses to decorate.

Enjoy your day :).

Hi Chris!
Such a sweet easel card. I would never have guessed that you colored her with pencils. It's so lovely and bright. I love the color choice and the way you colored her hair. I find that curly hair so hard to color. I love your shading. I love the layers on the bottom part. Gorgeous card.

Chris... there's no other cardmaker like you sweetie. Your style is extraordinary and so very artistic.
The swirlflowers are gorgeous, love the bling you've added in the middle, looks fabulous, and the shape of your easelcard is brilliant! Totally amazing. Love how you've coloured Tildas hair and how you've picked up the colours from the designpaper in her clothing.

hugs,
Hanna
